XXII: An Exemplary Journey at VivaTech 2025

Since our founding in 2015, we have rapidly emerged as one of the leaders in computer vision. Our relentless drive to innovate has enabled us to make our mark on the European tech scene (worldwide, one day, we hope!). And where there's tech, there's Viva Tech. Once again this year, Europe's annual tech event was marked by an exceptional presence and significant contributions. Let's take a closer look at a truly incredible edition.

1... 2... 3 stands!

At this year's event, we were honored to be present on three prestigious stands, each illustrating the impact of our technology in a variety of sectors:

  • SNCF stand: We demonstrated the capabilities of computer vision in the rail sector, including abandoned baggage detection, track crossing and crowd management through counting. Our innovative solutions attracted a great deal of interest, highlighting how video stream analysis can improve safety and efficiency in public transport.
  • Bouygues stand: Here, we demonstrated the application of our technologies in the retail sector. Thanks to our algorithms, retail players can now benefit from precise counting of entrances and exits, analysis of hot and cold zones in stores, calculation of bounce rates... optimizing customer experience and space management.
  • Ministère des Armées stand: On this stand, we illustrated the benefits of our solution in the field of defense, at the service of the French government.

Educational and inspiring conferences

In addition to our stand presence, we hosted three conferences in collaboration with key partners:

  • Conference with Colas: We discussed the contribution of computer vision to level crossings, demonstrating how our technology can improve road safety.
  • Conference with SNCF: We talked about the benefits of having a CVC on your board, and in particular the huge playground it provides for testing and getting our solution approved.
  • Conference with Capgemini: On the theme of hypervision and supervision, with case studies of the SNCF and France's waterways, showing how our technologies can optimize infrastructure management.

A summit conference on AI

The highlight of our participation was the conference on the main stage entitled "AI on the radar". Hosted by our CEO William Eldin, this session featured renowned experts such as Asma Mhalla, Sylvain Duranton and Pauline Duval. Since the launch of ChatGPT in November 2022, AI has continued to make headlines and transform our relationship to work. The conference explored the prowess and limits of AI, with interactive discussions on how it works, its practical applications and its impact on our daily lives.

William Eldin, drawing on his experience as a serial entrepreneur and co-founder of XXII, offered a unique perspective on the future of AI and its role in our society. The rich and educational exchanges captivated the audience, leaving a lasting impression on the importance of AI in today's technological landscape.

This edition of Viva Technology was a real success for XXII. Our strong presence and diverse contributions demonstrated our leadership position in the field of computer vision. We are proud of our achievements and look forward to continuing to innovate for an ever more promising technological future. Thank you to all our partners and visitors for their support and interest. See you next year for new adventures!
