🌱 Safety & the environment: two crucial issues for local authorities

Faced with increasingly complex challenges, local authorities today place citizen safety and environmental preservation at the heart of their priorities.

But their quest for effective solutions is often hampered by :

  • a lack of human and financial resources;

  • difficulty in collecting and analyzing data from urban infrastructures.

With the proliferation of video protection cameras, environmental sensors and connected devices, municipal teams are overwhelmed by a constant flow of information. As a result, decision-making becomes laborious, and the need for simple, accurate and automated analysis solutions becomes pressing.

👁️ Computer vision: a new way of seeing the city

Computer vision is emerging as a major lever for overcoming the limitations of conventional systems.
It enables machines to understand, analyze and react to visual data, far beyond simple image capture.

In this context, the CORE platform takes advantage of this technology to meet a multitude of urban challenges, by providing intelligent reading of video images from the territory.

🔍 CORE, an intelligent eye at the service of cities

Connected to existing cameras, CORE becomes the digital eye of local authorities. It reveals otherwise imperceptible details, and automates the detection of risky events or behavior.

Use cases in road safety :

  • prohibited or obstructive parking

  • one-way streets

  • running red lights

Environmental use cases :

Public safety :

  • unusual gatherings

  • prolonged presence

  • detection of abandoned luggage, malaise or fire outbreaks

📊 Towards intelligent, data-driven management

Data from CORE is not just for technicians: it can be used by all decision-makers - security managers, elected representatives, town planners...

🔹 All the information collected is automatically integrated into an interactive dashboard.
🔹 This makes it possible to understand dynamics in real time, anticipate sensitive situations, and adjust public policies:
→ enhanced safety
→ smoother traffic flow
→ more targeted land use planning

✅ Already deployed in over 50 communities

CORE isn't a promise: it's a proven solution, already in use in over 50 towns and cities in France.

In Massy, the platform optimizes traffic flows, improves mobility, detects troublesome parking and adapts to needs in real time thanks to a system of floating licenses.

In Poissy, it secures public buildings, monitors sensitive parking areas and tracks truck traffic to adjust urban logistics.

In Suresnes, CORE controls street lighting according to the number of people using the streets and parks, as part of a project with Qognify.

🔐 Ethical & responsible technology

At XXII, no biometric data is analyzed.
CORE distinguishes only anonymized silhouettes, classified according to their shape (pedestrian, bicycle, car, dog, etc.).

💡 Although some personal data is captured by the cameras, it is not processed by the analysis algorithms.
Artificial intelligence ignores what does not fall within its analysis perimeter.

🚀 In conclusion

Computer vision is much more than a technological tool: it's a transition gas pedal for communities.
It makes it possible to act on several fronts at once:

  • enhancing safety

  • improve mobility

  • optimize waste management

  • control energy consumption

  • anticipate risks

CORE is already transforming the daily lives of many cities. Why not yours?
