Our vision is clear: technology must be a tool at the service of humanity, not the other way around.
Since our creation in 2015 by William Eldin, and crowned by the French Tech 2030 program, XXII has established itself as a major player in computer vision in France. With a team of over 50 specialists, we design, develop and market CORE, a revolutionary software platform enabling the deployment and configuration of video stream analysis algorithms.
CORE has established itself with numerous companies and local authorities, whose teams testify daily to the benefits of our video analysis solution.
In close collaboration with our users, we continue to innovate, creating new tools and uses, always with the ambition of putting people at the heart of our technological concerns.
Internal.
AI cannot exist without images. Vision requires large quantities of data to learn, test and evaluate models. That's why we build up targeted and varied corpora and databases for our R&D, in full respect of the people concerned and current legislation.
Once created, these databases are annotated and then used for learning and evaluation (performance, errors, bias detection). Our in-house logging and pseudonymization tools enable us to monitor the data lifecycle and protect it from inherent security risks and privacy impacts. We are also working on the augmentation and generation of datasets with synthetic data, free from personal data.
Partners.
Our dedicated data management team is in constant contact with our partners or customers to support them and raise their awareness of ethics and the GDPR. Data controllers are required to have documentation relating to the implementation of personal data processing.
As a subcontractor, we work closely with the teams concerned to meet their legal obligations, passing on our processing sheets and monitoring the analysis.
As for the partners who install our solution, they are made aware of the best practices and challenges of GDPR and ethics during XXII training and certification courses.
Users.
Thanks to our "privacy by design" and "privacy by default" approaches, we can guarantee the best possible protection for personal data. Each feature is designed in collaboration with the product and legal teams. Some features, with major implications, pass through the filter of the ethics committee, which reserves the right to veto development if it deems it necessary. No biometric data analysis, facial recognition, identification or authentication are the cornerstones of our constant commitment to protecting people. This approach is concretely applied to the design for: access rights management, configuration, storage, anonymization of results, API operation and much more.
We want to maintain the optimum balance between the legitimate interests of our customers and the confidence of those subject to processing in our artificial intelligence.
Our aim is to use our technological know-how to develop functionalities that will make tomorrow's world a safer, more serene place for everyone.
Society
Our ethics committee issues recommendations on a variety of subjects: ethical questions raised by employees, XXII's strategic positioning, current issues in the AI market, future technological developments... and raises awareness of these issues among its ecosystem.
