After several years of development alongside the French Ministry of the Interior, XXII announces the sale of Système V to Orasio. This important step marks both the completion of a strategic project for the French security forces, and the reinforcement of XXII's growth strategy in retail.
XXII announces the sale of Système V to Orasio, a European company specializing in artificial intelligence applied to video for the homeland security and defense sectors.
Developed since 2018 in collaboration with the French Ministry of the Interior as part of a program steered by the Internal Security Forces Digital Agency (ANFSI), Système V has become a benchmark tool for video analysis serving French investigators.
This transmission opens a new chapter for the platform, which is now supported by a player fully dedicated to security and defense issues, with the ambition of large-scale deployment in France and Europe.
Faced with the explosion in the volumes of video used in judicial investigations, security forces need tools capable of considerably reducing analysis times.
Système V has been designed to meet this challenge thanks to artificial intelligence and computer vision. In particular, the platform enables :
Over the years, the software has reached a level of technological maturity that now enables it to enter a new phase of development.
This operation is part of XXII's refocusing strategy.
For several years, the company has been developing computer vision solutions capable of transforming video streams into operational data. While this expertise has been successfully applied to the security and investigation sectors, XXII is now focusing its investments on the retail and logistics markets.
The objective is clear: to accelerate the deployment of SaaS solutions based on artificial video intelligence, capable of being deployed on a large scale in thousands of points of sale.
As William Eldin, founder and CEO of XXII, explains:
"Today, the software has reached a maturity that requires a dedicated player for its massive deployment and to open up a new phase of innovation. For XXII, this sale marks the end of a necessary cycle and the start of an acceleration in our target markets, particularly in retail."
With this takeover, Orasio becomes the new player responsible for supporting Système V's development under the ANFSI contract.
The company is already developing artificial intelligence video solutions for the armed forces, specialized services, critical infrastructures and security forces in several European countries.
Its ambition is to develop Système V into a new-generation video investigation platform, incorporating :
For XXII, this sale also represents a major investment lever.
Resources previously devoted to Système V can now be redirected towards the development of the CORE platform and solutions dedicated to physical retail.
Thanks to computer vision, XXII helps retailers to better understand in-store behavior, analyze customer journeys, measure the efficiency of sales areas and optimize conversion.
Today, retail is one of the sectors offering the greatest potential for creating value from artificial intelligence applied to video. Relying on cloud architectures and a scalable SaaS model, XXII intends to accelerate its development and reinforce its leadership on the European market.
The sale of Système V marks the culmination of several years of close collaboration with the French Ministry of the Interior, ANFSI and all the teams involved in the project.
XXII is particularly proud of the progress made and the contribution made to the modernization of video investigation tools in France.
The company would like to extend its warmest thanks to its institutional partners, employees and all those who have contributed to the success of this technological adventure.
Today, a new page has been turned: that of XXII, fully mobilized to transform retail thanks to the power of computer vision and artificial intelligence.
