Since our creation in 2015, we have quickly emerged as one of the leaders in computer vision. Our desire to innovate tirelessly has allowed us to establish ourselves on the European (global, one day, hopefully!) technological scene. And when it comes to tech, it means Viva Tech. Once again this year at the annual global tech event in Europe, there was an exceptional presence and significant contributions. Zoom in on a more than incredible edition.
1… 2… 3 stands!
During this edition, we had the honor of being present at three prestigious stands, each illustrating the impact of our technology in various sectors:
SNCF Stand: We demonstrated the capabilities of computer vision in the railway sector, including detecting abandoned luggage, crossing tracks, and managing crowds through counting. Our innovative solutions aroused great interest, highlighting how video flow analysis can improve safety and efficiency in public transportation.
Bouygues Stand: Here, we showcased the application of our technologies in the retail sector. Thanks to our algorithms, retail players can now benefit from precise entrance and exit counts, analyses of hot and cold zones in stores, bounce rate calculations… thus optimizing the customer experience and space management.
Ministry of Armed Forces Stand: At this stand, we illustrated the contributions of our solution in the defense sector, serving the Government.
Pedagogical and inspiring conferences
In addition to our presence at the stands, we hosted three conferences in collaboration with key partners:
Conference with Colas: We discussed the contribution of computer vision to level crossings, demonstrating how our technology can improve road safety.
Conference with SNCF: We talked about the contribution of having a CVC on its board, and in particular the immense playground it is for testing and obtaining approval for our solution.
Conference with Capgemini: On the theme of hypervision and supervision, with case studies on SNCF and the waterways of France, showing how our technologies can optimize infrastructure management.
A summit conference on AI
The highlight of our participation was the conference on the main stage entitled “AI in the radar”. Hosted by our CEO William Eldin, this session brought together renowned experts such as Asma Mhalla, Sylvain Duranton, and Pauline Duval. Since the launch of ChatGPT in November 2022, AI has continued to make headlines and transform our approach to work. The conference explored the achievements and limits of AI, with interactive discussions on its functioning, practical applications, and its impact on our daily lives.
William Eldin, drawing on his experience as a serial entrepreneur and co-founder of XXII, offered a unique perspective on the future of AI and its role in our society. The rich and educational exchanges captivated the audience, leaving a lasting impression on the importance of AI in the current technological landscape.
This edition of Viva Technology has been a real success for XXII. Our marked presence and diverse contributions have demonstrated our position as a leader in the field of computer vision. We are proud of our journey and eager to continue innovating for an ever more promising technological future. Thanks to all our partners and visitors for their support and interest. See you next year for new adventures!
